This is crazy!

A couple of hours ago I was finally done with setting up the biggest part of my website. Now, it is already 2 am and I’ve decided that I might as well get some content on here as well. So here I am, after uploading the first blog post (it’s the one about my brand new drone), I am finally done with formatting the second one so I decided to give you some behind the scenes insight. Now that we have that out of the way, let’s talk about how crazy being a professional photographer really is…

I am in this business for more than a year now, and needless to say, I am loving every part of it. For me, the best part of the entire “professional photographer” experience is the fact I get to go to all sorts of places and visit new people each week (I do gigs once per week, twice at max). I already heard lots of amazing stories and have seen some amazing scenery. In addition to that, you wouldn’t believe how good professional photographers are paid. Not only that, but they get paid extra if they provide their clients with spectacular aerial shots… That’s pretty much why I decided to buy a new drone in the first place – better drone equals better photos… Better photos equal to happier clients, and we all know that happy clients tend to pay more. The crazy part is that I am just 1 year in the business and I am already overbooked. In the next 3 months, I have 1.5 gigs per week on average. You might consider that as a low number, but when you take into consideration the amount of time it takes me to prepare everything for a single event, and the amount of time it takes me to get the pictures ready in their physical form afterward, you’d be surprised… Anyways, that’s pretty much what I wanted to let you know here – I am overbooked. In other words, if you have an event in the next 3 months and you would like me to be your personal photographer of choice, I am afraid I will have to pass your offer…
